Road users at Industrial Avenue and 203 Street in Langley should be ready for full and partial intersection closures as Surrey Langley SkyTrain construction continues.
The Surrey Langley SkyTrain traffic update published August 27, 2026, says concrete pours and concrete work on a portion of the elevated guideway on Industrial Avenue and over 203 Street require temporary intersection and lane closures.
Full intersection closures
The intersection of Industrial Avenue and 203 Street will be closed to all road users on three dates:
- September 2, 2026
- September 3, 2026
- September 10, 2026
Partial closure on September 5
On September 5, 2026, there is no access to 203 Street from Industrial Avenue. 203 Street will remain open.
When traffic pattern changes are in effect
Traffic pattern changes will be in effect:
- 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. on closure dates
- Construction activities will begin at 6 a.m.
Additional Sunday construction
Additional construction activities will take place:
- Sunday, August 30, 2026 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Sunday, September 6, 2026 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The notice says there are no traffic impacts on these Sunday dates.
What road users should expect
During all closure dates, two-way traffic will be in effect on Industrial Avenue between 201A Street and 203 Street. Access to businesses and residences will be maintained. Road users should follow signs and traffic control personnel.
After this work is complete, eastbound traffic only on Industrial Avenue will continue.
The notice says alternate routes are available. Temporary increases in noise are expected during this work. Concrete pump trucks will be in operation, and deliveries will occur through this work.
