Industrial Avenue and 203 Street intersection closed, Sept. 15, 17, 25–26

Industrial Avenue and 203 Street in Langley City will be closed to all road users on September 15, 17, 25 and 26, 2026. Surrey Langley SkyTrain is doing concrete pours and concrete work on a portion of the elevated guideway on Industrial Avenue and over 203 Street, near the future Langley City Centre Station.

The updated Surrey Langley SkyTrain traffic notice posted September 14, 2026, replaces the postponed September 10 to 11 window from the earlier September 3 notice.

What road users should know

Closure: The intersection of Industrial Avenue and 203 Street is closed to all road users on the dates above.

Hours: Traffic pattern changes run 6 a.m. to 12 a.m. Construction activity begins at 7 a.m.

Industrial Avenue pattern: During those dates, two-way traffic is in effect on Industrial Avenue between 201A Street and 203 Street. When this work is complete, Industrial Avenue returns to eastbound traffic only.

Local access: Access to businesses and residences will be maintained. Follow signs and traffic control personnel.

Sunday work: Sunday work through the end of September 2026 also occurs, beginning at 7 a.m. at the future Langley City Centre Station site and at 8 a.m. along Industrial Avenue, ending at 9 p.m., per the September 14 notice.

Transit: Check TransLink signage and TransLink.ca for bus service in the area. Expect delays.

Who is affected

Anyone who normally crosses or turns at Industrial Avenue and 203 Street on September 15, 17, 25 or 26 needs a signed alternate during the 6 a.m. to midnight window. Local two-way travel on Industrial between 201A and 203 is available only during those closure dates.

This is a new dated update for the September 14 back-on schedule. It is separate from the earlier Industrial/203 bulletin that covered August and early-September dates, and from other SLS corridor notices such as 188 Street at Fraser Highway and Willowbrook Drive / 196 Street.
