Industrial Avenue and 203 Street in Langley City will be closed to all road users on October 1, 2026. Surrey Langley SkyTrain is doing concrete pours and concrete work on a portion of the elevated guideway on Industrial Avenue and over 203 Street, near the future Langley City Centre Station.

What road users should know
Closure: The intersection of Industrial Avenue and 203 Street is closed to all road users on October 1, 2026.
Hours: Traffic pattern changes run 6 a.m. to 12 a.m. Construction activity begins at 7 a.m.
Industrial Avenue pattern: During the closure, single-lane alternating traffic is in effect on Industrial Avenue between 201A Street and 203 Street. When this work is complete, Industrial Avenue continues as eastbound traffic only.
Local access: Access to businesses and residences will be maintained. Follow signs and traffic control personnel.
Sunday work: On October 4, 2026, Sunday work occurs from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the future Langley City Centre Station site and along Industrial Avenue, with no traffic impacts.
Noise: Temporary increases in noise are expected. Concrete pump trucks and deliveries will be in the work area. Lighting will be directed toward the site.
Transit: Check TransLink signage and TransLink.ca for bus service in the area. Expect delays on October 1.
Who is affected
Anyone who normally crosses or turns at Industrial Avenue and 203 Street on October 1 needs a signed alternate during the 6 a.m. to midnight window. Local travel on Industrial between 201A and the closure uses single-lane alternating control that day only.
This is a new dated update for the October 1 back-on schedule. It is separate from the earlier Industrial/203 bulletin that covered September 15, 17, 25 and 26, and from the standing eastbound-only / pile-driving bulletin on Industrial Avenue through November.
