The Pattullo Bridge Replacement project says 112/111a Avenue in Surrey fully closes for milling and paving from about 7 p.m. Tuesday, October 27, 2026, for about three nights (7 p.m. to 5 a.m.), and the Bridge Road and Old Yale Road intersection closes from Thursday, October 29 for about two nights (7 p.m. to about 6 a.m.). Official detour maps included.
Two overnight paving closures are coming next week by the Surrey end of the new Riverview Bridge. 112/111a Avenue fully closes starting at about 7 p.m. Tuesday, October 27, 2026, for approximately three nights. Then the Bridge Road and Old Yale Road intersection closes starting Thursday, October 29, for approximately two nights. Both closures are for milling and paving by Fraser Crossing Partners, the Pattullo Bridge Replacement contractor.
The project posted a notice for 112/111a Avenue dated October 21 and a notice for Bridge Road and Old Yale Road dated October 22. Each one includes a detour map.
If both stay on schedule, the third night of the 112/111a Avenue closure falls on Thursday, October 29, the first night of the Bridge Road closure, and Bridgeview Drive is on both detour maps, so expect that night to be the slowest one for late drives through the area.
What to know
112/111a Avenue: Full closure starting at about 7 p.m. on Tuesday, October 27, for approximately three nights. Hours are 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. The project says this work is weather dependent.
112/111a Avenue detours: Drivers travelling west to 111a Avenue are detoured to 112a Avenue, 128 Street and 110 Avenue. Drivers travelling east to 112a Avenue are detoured to 110 Avenue and 128 Street, to 128 Street and 114 Avenue, and then to 126a Street and 112a Avenue. The map above shows the closure in yellow and the detour in white.
Bridge Road and Old Yale Road: Closure of the intersection area starting Thursday, October 29, for approximately two nights. Hours are 7 p.m. to approximately 6 a.m.
Bridge Road detours: Eastbound traffic can take Timberland Drive, Tannery Road and 120 Street to Bridgeview Drive, 116 Avenue, and Industrial Road or Musqueam Drive. Westbound traffic can take Highway 17 to Tannery Road and Timberland Drive.

Impacts: Expect longer travel times or temporary delays from the detours. Emergency responder access is not maintained through either closure; on 112/111a Avenue the project says responders will use the detour routes. Nearby residents may hear paving noise. There is no impact to the multi-use paths.
