Coquitlam has four more fall recreation registration dates for Pro-D Day camps and general programs, beginning next week. The City's July 31 registration notice separates those two groups and gives Coquitlam residents a two-day head start in each one.
The live registration page shows that swimming opened July 21 for residents and July 23 for non-residents, followed by skating July 28 and July 30. This update covers the four remaining Pro-D and general-program openings, not the complete fall schedule.
Every opening happens at 8:30 a.m. The practical move is to identify the right date, check the household account before that morning and review programs as soon as they appear online.
The four remaining registration dates
The City's recreation registration page independently lists the same sequence:
- Tuesday, Aug. 4 at 8:30 a.m.: Coquitlam residents can register for Pro-D Day camps.
- Thursday, Aug. 6 at 8:30 a.m.: Non-residents can register for Pro-D Day camps.
- Tuesday, Aug. 11 at 8:30 a.m.: Coquitlam residents can register for general fitness and parks programs.
- Thursday, Aug. 13 at 8:30 a.m.: Non-residents can register for general fitness and parks programs.
The registration page says activities become visible online at least four days before their opening date. That preview period gives households time to compare schedules and note preferred options before registration begins.
How to prepare the household account
The City asks residents to sign in early and confirm that their account has the correct street address, unit number, spelling of Coquitlam and postal code. That information is how the system applies resident access.
Before the applicable morning, households can work through this short check:
- Review the street address, unit number, Coquitlam spelling and postal code exactly as the City describes them.
- Use the early program preview to note activity names, times and alternate choices.
- Keep the City's registration page available in case a listing changes before opening.
This is preparation guidance, not a promise that a spot will remain available. The official pages do not guarantee capacity in any individual program.
Registration options at 8:30 a.m.
The City provides three official routes when registration opens:
- Online through the Sign Me Up system linked from the registration page.
- In person through a Coquitlam recreation facility that handles registration.
- By phone at 604-927-4386.
The Fall 2026 Program Guide covers registered activities scheduled from September through December. It is useful for planning the season, while the live registration system remains the source for current listings and access.
Families comparing several options should decide what matters most before opening time, such as weekday, start time or facility. A short fallback list can make the morning easier if a first choice is no longer available.
Financial assistance is listed separately
Coquitlam also maintains an official financial assistance for recreation page. It says each eligible family member may receive 50 drop-in visits and a $225 recreation credit.
The program has residency and income-verification requirements. Households should use that page for the current application route and eligibility details rather than assuming that recreation registration itself confirms assistance.
Before the applicable opening date, residents should check that the account address is current and use the preview period to choose a first option plus a practical backup. On registration morning, use one of the City's three official routes when access begins at 8:30 a.m.
