Trout Lake Farmers Market

Where: Lakewood Drive and East 13th Avenue, at John Hendry Park
Trout Lake is one of the largest and longest-running Vancouver Farmers Markets locations. Expect a wide range of produce, baked goods, prepared foods, and artisan vendors. The market sits on the east side of the park, with easy access from the Commercial-Broadway area.
Transit tip: Take the SkyTrain to Commercial-Broadway Station and walk east along East 12th Avenue (about 15 minutes) or catch the 20 bus eastbound.

The Downtown Wednesday market has the longest fall run of any Vancouver Farmers Market location. It continues nearly two months after the outdoor weekend markets close. If you want a farmers market option into early winter, this is the one.
Transit tip: Vancouver City Centre or Granville SkyTrain stations are both within a short walk.

False Creek Farmers Market (Thursday)

Where: Olympic Village Square Milton Wong Plaza
False Creek is an afternoon market option for those in the Mount Pleasant, Fairview, or Olympic Village areas. It closes slightly earlier than the Saturday markets (Oct. 29).

How to visit without wasting the trip
