How to take transit to Fan Festival final weekend
FIFA Fan Festival Vancouver ends July 19 at Hastings Park. Here is the transit, gate, bike valet, ride-share, and parking plan for the final weekend.

Vancouver's Fan Festival is in its final weekend at Hastings Park, and the travel choice matters more than the event listing. The official schedule lists **Saturday, July 18** from **11 a.m. to 8 p.m.** and **Sunday, July 19** from **9 a.m. to 7 p.m.**
The Host City page says the festival runs at the **PNE Grounds at Hastings Park** through July 19 and recommends transit because parking is limited. TransLink also says it has added service for FIFA World Cup 2026 Vancouver, including dedicated service for the Fan Festival, while keeping regular fares in place.
## The simplest transit plan
The Host City's getting-there guide says the **11 Fan Festival Express** runs between **29th Avenue Station**, **Renfrew Station**, and the Fan Festival throughout the day, with more service during peak periods. That gives Expo Line and Millennium Line riders a direct festival option without trying to park near the PNE.
The same guide also points to nearby bus routes and the **R5 Hastings RapidBus**. TransLink's service-change page says it is adding more bus service downtown, dedicated Fan Festival service, more frequent SkyTrain before and after BC Place match windows, extra SeaBus sailings, and staff, service, and security support for World Cup crowds.
Before leaving, check the official schedule and TransLink alerts rather than relying on yesterday's screenshots. The festival page says programming and match times vary by day, and TransLink tells riders to plan ahead, add extra travel time, and use Trip Planner or active alerts before travelling.
## Gates and arrival timing
The useful planning detail is where you are trying to enter. The Host City guide lists general entry gates at **Gate 1** near Renfrew Street and East Hastings Street, **Gate 2** on Renfrew Street for stroller and accessible entry, **Gate 4** at Renfrew Street and Miller Drive, **Gate 10** at Miller Drive for accessible entry, and **Gate 14** at East Hastings Street.
For free general festival access, the guide recommends arriving at least **one hour before major match broadcasts and performances**. It also says the free general-admission Amphitheatre floor is first come, first served and subject to capacity.
Saturday's official schedule currently lists the bronze final at **2 p.m.**, with music across the Amphitheatre and Park Stage. Sunday's schedule currently lists the final at **noon**, followed by afternoon performances. The schedule page says times are subject to change, so treat those as check-before-you-go details.
## Bike valet, ride-share, and parking
If you are close enough to bike, the festival guide lists two free full-service bike valet locations: a north valet near **Gate 4** at Callister Park and a south valet near **Gate 14** by Hastings Community Centre. It also says complimentary day lockers are available at both valet locations during operating hours.
Ride-share and taxi drop-off is directed to **PNE Parking Lot 7** from North Renfrew Street at Eton Street, with Gate 10 listed as the easiest access point. Family or friend drop-off zones are listed near Lillooet and Windermere for Gate 14, North Renfrew for Gate 10, and North Renfrew for Gate 4.
Driving is the weakest option. The Host City guide says festival parking is extremely limited, not guaranteed, paid, first come, first served, and cashless. If you still drive, download a parking app before leaving and expect neighbourhood congestion after matches and concerts.
For the final weekend, the best default is simple: use SkyTrain plus the Fan Festival Express if it fits your route, leave extra time for screening, and pick your gate before you arrive.
