Road users on Dewdney Trunk Road between Locarno Drive and Cawthra Court should expect single-lane alternating traffic as Metro Vancouver carries out water-main construction work.

The City of Coquitlam notice says the work began mid-August and is expected to last about eight weeks.

Where the work is happening

The construction is part of the Metro Vancouver Dewdney Trunk Road Water Main Project:

  • Dewdney Trunk Road between Locarno Drive and Cawthra Court

The City says access to both Locarno Drive and Cawthra Court will be maintained throughout the work. Pedestrian access is also maintained.

Coquitlam lists these traffic impacts:
